Does attending VMware Sphere ICM course make me a VCP?

The VMware vSphere 5.5: Install, Configure, Manage is the entry point for many. It is the only training necessary to become VCP certified in Data Center Virtualization. However please note that the exam does not form part of the course. It is booked separately at a Pearson Vue test centre.
