Birmingham - Bull Street

The Centre is open from 8.30am. Please collect your pass from the DeVere Host who is located on the ground floor reception. To maintain building security and comply with health and safety legislation, delegates are required to collect a pass every morning from the ground floor reception.

Once you have registered for your course at the ground floor reception, please proceed to the 5th floor. You will then be able to relax in the Break Area and help yourself to free hot beverages. You will be advised by the trainer when they are ready to begin the course.

Disabled Access

Access is available at the Colmore Gate Bull Street front entrance and lifts are available. If you are attending a course at the centre and will be using a wheelchair please notify reception before your attendance and staff will be ready to assist if needed. A disabled access toilet is also available. The number for reception is 0844 346 0110.

Toilets

Toilets can be found on the 5th floor.

Lunch

DeVere Venues have their own restaurant on-site where lunch will be provided.

Directions:

Our training facilities in Birmingham are easily accessible from all major routes in and out of Birmingham and only a short walk from Birmingham New Street Rail station.  Birmingham Snow Hill Station is also nearby.

From New Street Train Station

  • From the main ticket hall, travel up the escalator to the Pallasades Shopping Centre and exit onto Stephenson Street which merges into Corporation Street.
  • Walk up Corporation Street until you reach Bull Street on your left.
  • Turn left onto Bull Street and walk for approximately 120 metres until you find the Colmore Gate Bull Street entrance on your left. The DeVere Venues reception can be found through the revolving doors. The Colmore Gate Bull Street entrance is next to the Paddy Power building.

From Snow Hill Train Station

  • Exit Snow Hill station and cross the road. You will see the Colmore Gate main building straight in front of you.
  • Turn left then follow the road round to the right onto Bull Street and use the Colmore Gate Bull Street entrance which is about 500 yards on your right. The De Vere Venues reception can be found through the revolving doors. The Colmore Gate Bull Street entrance is next to the Paddy Power building.

 


Travelling by Car

From M5

  • Exit at Junction 3
  • Take the A456 towards Birmingham’s The Quinton Express Way
  • Continue into Hagley Road West/Hagley Road along the A456 and take a slight left at Paradise Circus, then another slight left onto Great Charles Street Queenway/A4400
  • Take a slight right onto Snow Hill Queensway and then turn right at Colmore Circus Queensway
  • Take the first right onto Colmore Row

From M6

  • Heading towards Birmingham on the M6 Motorway
  • Leave at Junction 6 and follow signs for A38 (Birmingham Centre)
  • Continue onto Corporation Street
  • Turn a slight left onto St. Chads Queensway/A4400
  • Take the 2nd left onto Snow Hill Queensway
  • Turn right onto Colmore Circus Queensway
  • Take the first right onto Colmore Row

Travelling by Bus

Colmore Gate is situated in the city centre so all bus routes are accessible. To check which services are available go to http://www.transportdirect.info.

Travelling by Air

From Birmingham International Airport take a train to New Street Station.
