Exam and Prerequisites

Assessment is by means of a three-hour, multiple-choice examination.

Candidates are required to hold the ISEB/ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level in Software Testing Certificate as a minimum before sitting the exam.

Candidates may find the BCS Intermediate Certificate a useful bridge between Foundation and Advanced though it is not mandatory.

Successful candidates may use the certification acronym CTAL-TA
