PRINCE2® 2017 – Update
Back in January we reported that PRINCE2, arguably the world’s most popular project management method, is undergoing a major update, its first since 2009. Axelos announces major update to PRINCE2®
Due for release in mid-2017, Axelos has announced that the revisions will place a strong emphasis on the scalability and flexibility of the PRINCE2 methodology and on how best to tailor it to the complexity and specific requirements of a project.
AXELOS has compiled an extensive FAQ document to cover any major questions that you may have in relation to the PRINCE2 2017 update.
Unfortunately, as mid 2017 rapidly approaches, we are as yet unable to confirm the start date when all newwill be on the 2017 course material, however, we understand that it will be mid-July.
It is likely that there will be a strong demand for the Foundation and Practitioner courses once the date is announced and whilst we cannot guarantee it, if you are looking to gain this valuable qualification soon, and want the 2017 version in particular, we suggest that you secure a place on the course date and location of your choice by ‘Reserving’ a course from mid-July onwards.
RESERVE & PAY LATER – No binding obligation
You can reserve a place on the course while you (or someone else) organise the payment. You have not made a firm commitment at this stage.
We will check the course availability and then we’ll reserve a provisional place. We’ll agree the Payment Method with you. Your course booking will remain provisional until we receive your payment or Purchase Order.
[Most courses fill up quickly, so you will now need to organise your payment as soon as possible]
When we receive your Payment (or purchase order) we’ll confirm your Booking. You will then be subject to our booking terms and conditions.
Focus on Training has a very wide range of training courses for those looking to become qualified including:
- Classroom based with exams
- E-learning and Video based learning with exams
- Blended learning combining the benefits of both online and classroom learning
- PRINCE2 courses, and
- Courses for those looking to re-register
We will update further once the official date for the changeover to PRINCE2 2017 is confirmed.
