The APM PMQ course is designed to provide a broad level of project management knowledge, giving existing or aspiring project management professionals all the information they need to have confidence in approaching the management of projects.

This fully accredited course is aligned to the Association for Project Management’s Project Management Qualification syllabus and exam. The content discusses the terminology, tools and techniques and extends to provide a deeper perspective, facilitating an understanding of the reasons for their use as well as the benefits of doing so.


APM PMQ is recognized internationally and provides a solid understanding of the current best practice methodology.


Through the use of an appropriate case study during the course, delegates will be able to apply what they learn, making use of the theory in a practical sense which allows for more effective learning and greater likelihood of implementation and improvement in the workplace.

This includes a 4-day classroom course followed by a 2-day exam preparation workshop and exam. Please note that there is approximately 3-4 weeks between the classroom course and the exam preparation workshop in order to allow delegates to consolidate their learning .

Description:

With excellent links to the M4 and M5 motorways, the Hilton Bristol hotel is ideally situated as both a leisure and business hotel. This Bristol hotel is just eight miles from Bristol's greatest attractions including ss Great Britain, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Zoo and the city's business district.

Directions:

Exit Bristol Airport and take the A38 for city center. At the Bedminster Bridge roundabout take the 3rd exit for the A38. Join the M32 then the M4. Leave the M4 at Junction 20 and join the M5. Exit the M5 at Junction 16. At the traffic lights, follow directions for Bradley Stoke. The hotel is visible on the left. At the roundabout take the 1st exit and then left, left and left again. This journey is 31km and takes 45 minutes.

To reach the hotel from M5 motorway, leave M5 at junction 16 and bear left onto slip road. At roundabout, travel onto the A38 Gloucester Road, sign posted for Bristol. At Aztec West round about, take 1st exit (hotel will be visible on left hand side). Turn left into Bradley Stoke Way and stay in left-hand lane at traffic lights. Take first left into Ashridge Road, the hotel is located immediately on the left hand side.

Please note that APM PMQ exams must be taken in the classroom and are not available via Proctor U.

The APM Project Management Qualification exam is taken at the end of the 2 day exam workshop. 

Candidates must answer 10 from 16 questions covering all 37 syllabus topics.

- 10 essay based questions each worth 50 marks
- 3 hours
- Closed-book
- Candidates require a minimum of 275 marks out of 500 (55%) to pass

Extensive examination practice and feedback is included in the workshop.
