Agile Project Management presents a coherent and easily replicated approach to planning, resourcing and managing a successful and well-disciplined Agile project. This course, accredited by the APMG, and created in conjunction with the DSDM Consortium, provides the worlds first independent certification in Agile Project Management. It provides delegates with an understanding of how the Agile Project Management process can enable planning, management and control of successful and well-controlled Agile projects. The course provides the opportunity to gain certification as an Agile Project Manager at both Foundation and Practitioner levels.DurationThis is a 4 day course.Prerequisites and evening studyThere are no pre-requisites for the course. The Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Practitioner course, accredited by the APMG, and created in conjunction with the DSDM Consortium, provides the world's first independent certification in Agile Project Management.

It provides delegates with an understanding of how the Agile Project Management process can enable planning, management and control of successful and well-controlled Agile projects. Directions:

By Road: From The M1 / M6

Leave motorway at Junction 19. Take the M6 toward Coventry (North) / Birmingham. At junction 3a, exit toward Birmingham/M42/M5, merge onto the M6 motorway. Exit the M6 at junction 6, exit toward A38(M) / Birmingham (Cen.). Merge onto A5127 / Aston Expy. Take the exit toward Lancaster Circus Queensway.

At Lancaster Circus Queensway, take the 1st exit onto James Watt Queensway take the ramp onto James watt Queensway. Turn right at Newton Street, turn left at Dalton Street, Maple house is the building on your left as you approach Old Square.

By Train:

FromBirmingham New Street Station:

Follow main exit sign Forward through the main ticket check area entering the Pallasades Shopping Centre via the escalator. At the top of the escalator turn left, proceed for 40 meters and then left again, Proceed for 25 Meters. Turn right exiting the Pallasades Shopping Centre. On exit you are on Corporation Street. Accelerate up the hill for approx 500 meters past House of Fraser on the left, finding Maple House on the right. Maple House is located on a corner position overlooking Old Square.

 

From Snow Hill Train Station:

As you exit the train station (only one main exit) cross the road onto Colmore Row. Continue heading Forward into the open walkway through the tall blue glass building (directly opposite the train station)

Proceed in the same direction for approx 300 meters and then bear left into the Minories Shopping Centre. Upon exiting the indoor shopping centre, continue forward past both pedestrian crossings, finding Maple House on the right. Maple House is located on a corner position overlooking Old Square.

 

From Moor Street Station:

Start out along Moor Street Queensway heading north. Turn left onto Moor Street Queensway pedestrian crossing heading north. Turn left onto Albert Street heading west. Bear right onto Dale End passing the O2 Academy (Dale End) Nightlife and then Dale End car park. Turn left onto Newton Street and then left onto Dalton Street for Maple House.

Some evening work is required.

APMG Certified Agile Project Management Foundation exam:

  • 4 questions per paper with 20 marks available per questions

  • 2.5 hour duration
