CAPM
CAPM certification from the PMI is an entry level project management qualification.
The CAPM is for junior project management practitioners or those new to project management who wish to demonstrate their knowledge of project management processes and terminology.
Successful candidates are certified for 5 years: to maintain PMI certification candidates may choose either to re-certify through continuing professional development, or to apply for the PMP qualification if eligible.

Exams
The CAPM exam comprises 150 multiple choice questions to be completed within 3 hours.
The exam questions are referenced solely to “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) – Third Edition.
Pre-Requisites
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or global equivalent and in addition meet one of the two following requirements:
a) 1,500 hours of work on a project team
b) 23 contact hours of formal education
Exams can only be scheduled with Prometric once an application form has been approved by PMI and payment made.
