The course objectives are to provide interpretation and understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001:2005 and auditing ISMS.

 

The course is aimed at all levels of personnel from senior management to supervisors, who are concerned with the information security in their organisation.

The course will also equip delegates with a sound knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001:2005 and knowledge of associated standards.

Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001:2005 is necessary for a full understanding of the principles developed in this course

This intensive, challenging and highly interactive 5-day training program is for those people who require an in-depth understanding of the ISO 27001:2005 and associated standards, and the range of auditing techniques and protocols associated with the lead auditor role

You learn to build on the skills of how to plan, structure and conduct an effective audit and to evaluate and communicate the findings. The course is designed to follow the stages in a live audit, including simulated audit interviews and role play closing meetings.

 

The requirements include an examination and a certificate is issued on completion of the course.
