How to Book and Pay

Step 1  Course, Booker & Delegate

Complete Booker and Delegate details.
(The Booker is yourself; the Delegate is the person attending the course)

Step 2 Address, Preferences & Comments

For some courses you may receive Pre-Course Study material by post so a suitable postal address is required.

This step includes the opportunity to identify any special needs or other relevant information.

Step 3  Booking & Payment Options

BUY NOW - Using a Debit/Credit Card (No Card Fees – except Amex)

We'll double check that there are free places on the course and then confirm your Booking.

In the unlikely event that the course is no longer available, we will refund your payment in full or find an alternative course. You will receive your course Joining Instructions which will contain all the information that you need e.g. start times and a location map.

Please ensure that you allow enough time to carry out any pre-course reading (Up to 20 hours on PRINCE2 courses). Please note that you are subject to Focus booking terms and conditions once you have placed a booking.

If you wish to pay by Amex please complete a Reserve a Place booking; we will contact you by phone to take payment.

RESERVE A PLACE and Pay Later (No binding obligation)

You can reserve a place on the course while you (or someone else) organise the payment. You have not made a firm commitment at this stage; it's just like asking a hotel to provisionally hold a room for you.

We will check the course availability and then we’ll reserve a provisional place. We'll agree the Payment Method with you.  Your course booking will remain provisional until we receive your payment or Purchase Order. [Most courses fill up quickly, so you will now need to organise your payment as soon as possible]

We are pleased to accept these methods of payment:
- Credit or Debit Card (by phone or online)
- Cheque or Bank Transfer
- Purchase Order from your Employer (subject to credit check)

When we receive your Payment (or purchase order) we'll confirm your Booking.  You will then be subject to our booking terms and conditions.

You will receive your course Joining Instructions which will contain all the information that you need e.g. start times and a location map.

Step 4  Secure Online Payment

If you select the Buy Now option at Step 3 then you will be directed to a secure online payment page.

You will see a summary of your purchase and the total payment due. The total sum will be inclusive of VAT.

Online payments are made via Paypoint whose site is Thawte authenticated and uses SSL security. You will see the "https" code at the start of the url which indicates a secure site (you may also see a padlock symbol though display of this varies according to the web browser you use).  Your credit card details are not made available to Focus on Training.

If you select the Reserve a Place option at Step 3 then you will go direct to Step 5.

Step 5 Summary & Next Steps

You will be advised online and by email of the outcome of your booking request.

The details you have submitted will be confirmed to you.
