Course: MoR - Practitioner

Course Summary

Course Overview

MoR provides an effective framework for taking informed decisions on risk opportunities and threats at all levels in an Organisation, including strategic, programme, project and operational. It enables organisations to meet the risk elements of the UK Financial Reporting Council’s Combined Code on Corporate Governance, and it defines the essential building blocks to establish, develop and embed risk management as a corporate process.

This 5 day course will cover the 4 core concepts: M_o_R Principles, Approach, Processes and Embedding & Review.  It incorporates all the activities required to identify and control the exposure to risk which may have an impact, positive or negative on the achievement of an Organisation’s business objectives and incorporates the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites

This course is designed for managers, team leaders and support staff involved in risk management at any Organisational level.   In particular, these qualifications complement other OGC best practice guidance such as PRINCE2® and MSP™. They are also suited to those who may be involved in the implementation of Management of Risk M_o_R framework.

An understanding of risk management is highly advisable and those wishing to take the Practitioner exam must already have passed the Foundation exam either previously or earlier in this 5 day course.
