Citrix delivers three levels of IT professional certification, Administrator, Engineer and Architect to allow IT professionals to match their certification path to their job role.
Certification by solution
Various paths, including Application Virtualization, Desktop Virtualization, Application Networking and Server Virtualization are available, enabling IT professionals to align their certifications to the technology solutions most relevant to their job role.
Certification by product specialization
IT professionals can achieve specific designations for the latest Citrix products, such as Citrix XenApp™, Citrix® NetScaler®, Citrix XenDesktop™, Citrix XenServer™, and others, to prove their competency and skills on the latest enterprise products.
Administrator Series
The Administrator Series is designed for IT associates and focuses on validating core implementation skills including demonstrating an ability to install, configure and manage Citrix products.
Citrix Certified Administrator™ (CCA)
The CCA validates the skills necessary to implement a specific Citrix product.
CCA Platinum is awarded to candidates who demonstrate breadth of knowledge across an end-to-end Citrix solution by obtaining additional CCAs.
NEW! Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator™ (CCAA) for Citrix XenApp 5
The new CCAA allows IT professionals to take their CCA one step further and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including implementation of advanced features and additional functions such as monitoring, optimizing and troubleshooting XenApp 5.
Engineer Series
The Engineer Series validates an IT professional’s ability to plan and integrate aspects of the delivery infrastructure as well as the skills needed to implement and maintain key aspects of an end-to-end Citrix solution.
Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator™ (CCEA) for Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4)
The CCEA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) is the legacy certification supporting version 4 and older. Those currently holding or pursuing this certification will have the opportunity to easily update to Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer for XenApp 5 in H1 2009.
NEW! Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer™ (CCEE) for Citrix XenApp 5 (available H1 2009)
The CCEE takes the CCEA certification to the next level by validating an engineer’s role in planning and integrating aspects of the delivery infrastructure.
Architect Series
The Architect Series validates the highest level of Citrix technical expertise and certifies a candidate’s ability to analyze, design and build IT environments that solve key business and technical challenges.
Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4)
The CCIA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) is the legacy architect-level certification supporting version 4 and older. Those currently holding or pursuing this certification will have the opportunity to easily update to CCIA for XenApp 5 in H1 2009.
