APM Introductory Certificate

The APM Introductory Certificate course is accredited by the Associaton for Project Management.  Focus offers a regular schedule of 2 or 3 day courses at UK venues including London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The APM Introductory Certificate is for anyone who requires a basic awareness of project management and how projects differ from normal work activities.

It is the first step in the APM hierarchy of training and certification so provides an entry point for those pursuing a career in project management.

No prior knowledge or experience in project management is required.

Two Day Course
This covers all the basics you need to pass the APM Introductory Certificate exam - and the exam is included on the final day.

Three Day Course
This option covers the same topics but allows substantially more time for case studies and exercises which reinforce learning. The exam is also included.

This APM training course is designed for anyone looking to start a career in project management or wanting to understand the principles of project management. You will learn the key elements of the project management lifecycle, the language of project management and the structure of a successful project. You will then be able to take an active part in a project team and make a positive contribution to any project environment.

The APM Introductory Certificate qualification is based on the APM Body of Knowledge 5th edition, which is acknowledged in Europe as the standard for competencies appropriate for project managers.
