DSDM Atern Practitioner

Target Audience

The course is aimed at anyone who will be involved in a DSDM Atern project. Typical roles would include Project Manager/Team Leader, Business Analyst, Solution Developer and Solution
Tester/Quality Reviewer. It would also benefit any business stakeholders who would be part of a DSDM Atern Development Team.

To give delegates a practical understanding of DSDM Atern that should enable them to become immediately productive in an agile project environment.
To prepare delegates for the DSDM Atern Foundation exam.

  • Learn the basics of techniques such as MoSCoW, Timeboxing, Facilitated Workshops, Modelling and Prototyping.
  • Assess the benefits of DSDM Atern and how to implement it into an organisation.

Examinations

This course prepares delegates for the DSDM Atern Foundation exam which may be sat at the end of the course.

The Foundation exam comprises 60 multiple-choice questions where delegates must attain 50% to pass. The exam lasts for one-hour and is closed book. There are no pre-requisites for delegates wishing to take the DSDM Atern Foundation exam.

If delegates want to achieve their DSDM Atern Practitioner qualification they must apply to the DSDM Consortium at www.dsdm.org. Then, if the applicant has the required level of practical experience, working on DSDM projects, they will be invited to submit a written piece of work followed by an oral exam
